本中心主任臧振華今（2022）年11月於l泰國清邁舉辦之印太地區最大考古學會議--印度太平洋史前考古協會大會（Indo-Pacific Prehistory Archaeology Association, IPPA）中，又以The Development of Ecotourism and Its Possibe Impacts on Maritime Cultural Heritage: The Case of the Dongsha Atoll in the South China Sea 為題，介紹東沙環礁海域水下文化資產內涵及相關政策。副主任謝艾倫在同一會議另以Digging while filming: Public archaeology in the Hepingdao Project, Keelung, Taiwan 為題，討論和平島海洋文資與台灣當代社會的關係。
